UI/UX Designer Job Opening in Daytona Beach, Florida - Job Description
Silversphere is seeking a UI/UX Designer to work with our product development team. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, this role will be responsible for establishing creative solutions and crafting compelling user experiences. This role will work with the Software team as well as the Product Manager to take features from concept to design completion and then see them through the development process.
Required Education and Experience:
2+ years in UI/UX design
A strong portfolio demonstrating past design experiences and deliverables is a must
Well versed with Responsive Web, iOS, and Android design patterns
Able to build wireframes, storyboards, and screen flows
Experience leveraging wireframes, concepts, and prototypes in order to discover creative solutions
Talented at HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Some knowledge of other frameworks such as jQuery, Knockout, Bootstrap is a plus
Knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies
Effective and collaborative teamwork and verbal/written communication
Strongly passionate about crafting gorgeous, user-centric experiences
Lives on the cutting edge of web development trends and technologies
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Develop, design, and implement a full and coherent vision encompassing the entire product line
Build wireframes, storyboards, and screen flows from verbal and written specifications
Analyze user feedback and activity to iterate/improve UI/UX
Confidently articulate how a design solution answers user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and other project requirements
Translate ideas/concepts into premium visual designs
