Subject: Full-Time Front End Developer
The Front End Developer?s mission is to develop best of class web and mobile applications for the Driver?s Alert Learning Management product suite. The software developer will be responsible for the technical development and maintenance of the web/mobile properties to include architecture, analysis and optimization. This will require strong technical skills in software development as well as a strong understanding of user interface design. The expectation is that he/she will uphold the values of Driver?s Alert and act in the best interest of Driver?s Alert and its customers. The development of the web/mobile properties will require vision while communicating, collaborating, and working with cross functional teams.
The Front End Developer operates under general supervision of the Director of LMS Courses, and performs duties with broad latitude for judgment. Tasks assigned require an in-depth and broader understanding of software engineering, architecture and design, UI design, problem identification, analysis and resolution.

PRIMARY DUTIES :
The primary duties of the Front End Developer include being accountable and responsible for:
Design and development of new web/mobile properties
Maintenance of existing and new web/mobile properties
Requirements gathering and documentation
SKILLS :
The skills needed to make the Front End Developer successful include:
College degree or equivalent experience with specific course work in analytics and software development
A strong understanding of UI and website design both from a technical, functional, and aesthetic standpoint, to include responsiveness
An understanding of user navigation best practices
Exceptional problem solving skills
Ability to create and maintain accurate documentation with great attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Ability to work within a collaborative environment that includes other developers, customer support, and sales team members
Strong verbal and written communication skills
