Java/J2EE Engineer Job Opening in Boca Raton, Florida - Senior Software Engineer, Java/J2EE - 6MC, On-Site, Sunrise FL
The Senior Java Engineer will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance/support of enterprise software in Java/J2EE. The The ideal candidate will be local to South Florida, able to rapidly adapt to new environments, to synthesize large amounts of information and demonstrates a sense of ownership, urgency and responsibility in successfully delivering results.
Responsibilities:
Design & develop new features
Analyze business requirements and participate in business requirements reviews
Perform Defect Resolution
Perform Unit Testing, and Security/Load Testing
Participate in code reviews
Assist QA team with Functional and regression testing
Assis the BA team with requirements gathering
Skill & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related
8+ years? progressive experience programming in Java (Agile/Kanban methodology experience preferred)
Familiarity with NoSQL concepts
Strong proficiency in SQL/general database concepts (WebSphere and DB2 experience a plus)
Deep understand XML, XSL, XSD and JSON
Restful Web Services Experience
Experience working in Agile Methodologies
Familiarity with Ruby and UI technologies like AngularJS
