Retreat Sales Manager Job Opening in Boone, North carolina - Art of Living Retreat Center () is looking for a Retreat Sales Manager. We are located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Boone, NC at the Art of Living Retreat Center, founded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
Must possess Bachelor?s Degree, experience in Hospitality and or Wellness Industry, sales experience, some kind of Wellness Certification, and a strong commitment to Health & Well-being. This position requires some travel, strong computer skills, ability to pick up new computer software programs, strong but genuine sales persuasion, and the ability to work, days, evenings, weekend, and holidays. This position requires one to work independently and participate as part of a team. Refined communication skills and high level emotional intelligence necessary.
Duties are, but are not limited to:
Gaining a working knowledge of property, amenities, meeting space, and all our signature retreats. Calling on major decision makers in the Retreat Space, Yoga and Meditation Groups, Associations, Religious and Spiritual Groups to host their retreats at Art of Living Retreat Center. And being creative in outreach to attract people to Retreat Center and Wellness Programs. Must be comfortable cold calling and resourceful in gaining contacts of decision makers.
Set up meetings with potential clients and site visits and being able to invite groups to rent the center for their needs. Attend Trade Shows. An openness and willingness to generate and explore new ideas to create new business, is required.
