Junior Accountant Job Opening in Herndon, Virginia - Sparks Group has partnered with a global transportation company, who is interested in hiring a Junior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of professional or internship experience with an accounting department, advanced proficiency with MS Excel and excellent communication skills. The Junior Accountant will be a part of a well-established and tenured accounting team and will need to be able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to 1-2 years of general accounting experience, the ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically advanced Excel, is required. Costpoint software experience is highly preferred.
