Director of Community Relations & Development Job Opening in Oneonta, New york - Responsible for maintaining, promoting and enhancing the reputation of the Agency and awareness of the Agency brand and mission for a variety of stakeholders through developing and implementing the Agency?s overall strategic communication programs including public relations, community relations, and internal communications. Plan, direct and coordinate special events, annual meeting, membership campaigns and special projects. Cultivate new donors and maintain accurate donor database and records.
Bachelor?s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or in a related field; five years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in healthcare or not-for-profit agencies. Must be knowledgeable about Internet software, Microsoft Office components including Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint, desk top publishing, photo editing software and fundraising software. Experience with photography strongly preferred.
