Modeling and Simulation Software Developer Job Opening in Lexington, Massachusetts - Solidus is searching for a Modeling and Simulation Software Developer.
An experienced Software Programmer is needed to support modeling, simulation, and assessment of undersea concepts and systems:
- Develop and validate software for data analysis, real-time applications, and computer simulations
- Create, enhance, document and maintain shared software components
- existing software for operation in local and distributed execution environments
Requirements:
- US Citizen and an Active Secret DoD Security Clearance
- BS degree with 3-5 years experience or equivalent
- MATLAB, C/C++ programming experience
- Experience developing, debugging and executing software in a Linux environment
Experience with:
- Git and Subversion configuration control software
- Object-oriented programming
- Data reduction and analysis
- Developing and verifying models and simulations
Skills Preferred:
- Python, Perl and Java
- Proficiency with software engineering, data modeling, design patterns and algorithms
- Matlab or Java graphical user interface (GUI)
- Background knowledge of the physical sciences
