Senior Software Engineer Job Opening in Patuxent River, Maryland - Greenfield Engineering has an immediate opening for a senior software engineer. Greenfield Engineering is developing the next generation of avionics mission software utilizing an open systems approach with VxWorks and LynxOS operating systems in a multi- processing environment. Successful candidate will lead the new effort from cradle to grave. Candidate will supervise software team and project by developing associated artifacts, development plans, work breakdown structure, execution, monitoring and reporting progress. Candidate will participate in the day to day engineering development activities. Must possess strong organization skills and experience with develop of operational flight programs, configuration management and testing of software. Candidate will lead medium size team for the entire software lifecycle. Candidate must have BS degree in engineering, 8 years software experience performing the above functions, US citizen and capable of obtaining a security clearance.
