Accounting Manager Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Global Healthcare Alliance, Inc., a leader in Value Based Healthcare Reimbursement programs (VBR) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is looking for a motivated Accounting Manager with an aptitude with information systems and workflow processes to join our growing company. Global Healthcare Alliance is located in the Greenway Plaza area.
Position Summary:
This position will handle the day to day accounting functions and ensure the monthly financials are completed timely and accurately.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting and consolidated financials
Review financials statements and supporting schedules for completeness and accuracy
Review monthly financial workpapers and reconciliations to the general ledger
Manage and improve internal accounting policies
Perform monthly financial analysis
Oversee Accounts Payable processing
Oversee monthly invoicing to clients for VBR and RCM
Oversee PBC list for our annual financial audit
Oversee Daily Cash Position Reports
Assist with budgeting cycle and forecasting within Adaptive Insights
Champion and build a culture of control and accountability
Drive improvements in key financial transactional metrics with business process improvement initiatives
Responsible for working with our IT group regarding the Company?s financial systems (hardware, software and documentation) and strategy for future growth, performance, connectivity and security requirements
Hands-on leader who also engages actively and personally with others
Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in accounting required from an accredited four-year college or university.
Proven track record of consistently working to identify ways to raise standards, simplify or eliminate work, and bring clarity to communication of results and the resulting implications
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong computer skills
Strong written and communication skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience with Sage 100 ERP, Sage FAS, Adaptive Insights and SQL a plus
2+ years management experience
Ability to utilize technology effectively
