Position Overview
Manage client relationships and be responsible for client project delivery, from planning, supervision, review to completion of tax projects. This is a dynamic position of leadership in the Firm and offers the opportunity to manage a large book of business in a very short time. Ownership in the Firm is available for the right candidate.
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
5+ years of experience in public accounting including partnerships, S-corps, C-corps, trusts and individual tax planning and tax preparation
Supervisory experience and desire to grow into a role of Partner
Microsoft Office, QuickBooks experience
GoSystems and ProSystems fx Engagement experience desired
Research skills
Experience in dealing with the IRS
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients and staffRequired License
CPAKey Responsibilities
Review of personal, corporate, partnership, trust and state income tax returns
Provide excellent tax planning strategies, serving as the primary point-of-contact to field any client tax related questions
Respond to tax notices; preparation of correspondence
Tax research projects
