Manager- Mechanical/Electrical Service Organization Job Opening in Hampton, New hampshire - NH Seacoast organization is seeking an experienced leader in the HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing service industry. The manager will lead a team of HVAC, electrical and plumbing service technicians in the day to day operations of the business. In addition, possessing strong customer service and communication skills and translating them to the technicians, will be a key factor in defining success. Good business development experience is a plus.
The manager will supervise staff who install, repair, and maintain heating and air conditioning systems in residences and light commercial buildings. The manager will also oversee the installation and repair of electrical and plumbing work in new construction as well as existing residential and light commercial opportunities.
The manager will be responsible for setting day to day operational assignments and training staff. The manager will also ensure that staff understand the various industry safety regulations and that all employees acquire the necessary certifications.
Additional responsibilities will include reviewing weekly payroll and ensuring labor is assigned to the correct job, reviewing material invoices for costing to the appropriate job, assisting in the establishment of organization goals, working with the accounting group to develop yearly budgets, recruiting, interviewing and evaluating employee performance, meeting with company personnel to discuss business strategies and long term planning opportunities and the preparation of job quotes for negotiation with customers.
The position will work directly on jobs along with technicians when required as well as seeking and promoting new business opportunities.
