Regional Sales Manager Job Opening in Elgin, Illinois - Impact Plastics is a premier supplier of accessory products for the Waste Industry. We innovate and make products better! We are now seeking a self-starting sales professional to help take our team to our next level of success. Impact has experienced tremendous growth year after year and we need to keep the momentum going! If you have experience in the Waste Industry, that's a plus!
Our products are the best and have the highest initial price yet last the longest in the marketplace. Can you sell the best, and the extra value we provide? Order Takers cannot. Sales Pros can. We need that Sales Pro!
If you prefer to sell based on bid or commodity, this will not be a career you would want to consider. We have a story to tell. Face-to-face presentations, solution based and consultative selling all enter the mix.
We are in search of a Regional Sales Manager who:
- Who can get our attention with a creative way to follow instructions below and separate themselves!
- Is willing to give the extra effort to win! We don?t hire average.
- Can work with customers in both the shop floor and corporate environment.
- Can build long-term relationships and keep them. Account retention is job #1!
- Can develop business from supplied leads and extensive customer base.
- Likes to have commission as part of their package and uncapped income potential.
- Has a minimum of 7 years of outside successful sales experience that is verifiable.
- Can demonstrate what they have done throughout their career to close and keep accounts.
- Examples will be requested in the interview process.
- Experience selling to any industrial type end user is a plus!
The successful candidate will like to make sales calls. Lots of them!
We have secured national agreements with the 12 largest major multi-location customers in the waste industry. They need to be visited, presented, educated, and told the Impact story. There is no shortage of customers in this multi-state territory.
There is minimal desk time; most of your time is face to face with the customers in your assigned multi-state region.
Major Responsibilities include:
- Growing market share in assigned territory/account targets.
- Providing unmatched ?WOW? customer service.
- Customer relationship building and possessing the people skills to retain existing business.
- Possesses a ?can do? attitude for all aspects of the position.
- Keeps company abreast of activities via CRM software and Sales Reporting.
- Contributing ideas and input to keep the new products and innovations coming for Impact!
Travel is two nights out a week at minimum to see the customer. Base Salary will depend on the qualifications of the candidate. Impact offers great incentives and benefits, including a matching 401k Program, Commission, Bonus Program, and Health Insurance.
The candidate must live in the Chicagoland area.
