Midstream Accounts Payable Clerk Job Opening in Humble, Texas - SUMMARY:
A growing Midstream Oil & Gas company located in Humble, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team!
The Accounts Payable Clerk?s primary responsibility will be to ensure that the company?s bills are paid on time. The AP clerk will work under the supervision of the Company?s Controller to assist with maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; prepare and analyze budgets; and perform general bookkeeping tasks.
You will earn between $40,000.00 and $45,000.00, depending on experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review all invoices for proper and approval prior to payment
Communicating with Supervisors, and Peers
Enter all payables into the accounting system
Set up payments (via ACH and check)
Code routine invoices
Reclass journal entries
Match invoices with PO?s/AFE?s
Scanning and Filing invoices
Assist with annual 1099 issuance
Assist with pulling invoice backup for audits
Maintain various spreadsheet schedules as needed
Reconcile monthly vendor statements to open items
Check for cash discounts
Other projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong data entry skills
Proficient in QuickBooks
Strong multi?tasking and Organizational abilities
Strong ability to work independently
Be attentive to details
Proficient in Microsoft office products including Excel, and Outlook
Flexible to accommodate company needs as requested
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude with visitors, customers, and co?workers
