Victory Wine Group is seeking a motivated and organized Senior Accountant who has the desire to grow with a startup company. The ability to interact positively and professionally with people is a must as this position has a significant amount of client and staff interaction.
The Victory Wine Group Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger across 3 entities. This position will also assist with facility inventory, travel expense approval, and act as liaison to operations, administration, etc., for month end reporting, accounting, and finance implementation of the corporate entity processes that will be parallel to the corporate structure, state, and federal requirements. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to multi-task, communicate effectively with others, and be able to produce a high volume of work under a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Senior Accountant Job Duties:
Assist with the month-end close process
Prepare and maintain monthly invoice and credit memos with supporting documentation
Prepare bank reconciliations and corresponding journal entries
Prepare monthly accruals, deferrals, and amortization journal entries
Reconcile monthly credit card statements
Maintain company fixed assets ledger and record monthly depreciation entries
Generate and create ad hoc reports within NetSuite
Contribute to state and local taxes / licenses compliance effort
Assist with annual audits
Requirements:
2-4 years relevant general accounting experience
Strong Excel proficiency
Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
Ability to grasp accounting and finance concepts quickly
Detail Oriented and an energetic team player with the ability to build good working relationships
Must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve

Salary: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
