Sr. Application Developer Job Opening in West Chester, Pennsylvania - StrategicLink Consulting, a premier IT consulting firm in the greater Philadelphia area, is seeking full-time Application Development Consultant to join our e-Business Consulting Team. In this position, the individual will be involved in developing and implementing a variety of business system solutions, including custom database applications, e-commerce sites, and intranet/extranet portal development.
Requirements:
? Familiarity with the complete software development life cycle, from gathering business and functional requirements, establishing a detailed design, development, QA, to training administrators and/or end users
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Excellent time management skills
? Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
? Ability to solve complex problems as they arise during projects
? IT Services experience
Desired skill set:
? Min. three (3) years experience development experience with MS SQL Server2012/2008, Oracle 10/11, or MySQL
? Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013/2010 intranet/portal design and implementation
? Min. three (3) years experience with front-end development tools: , PHP, ? XML/XSLT or other server-side web development platform.
? Solid understanding of Windows Operating Systems
? Familiarity with directory services such as MS Active Directory and LDAP authentication
? Ability to understand business requirements, project scoping/estimates and provide ?subject matter expert? technical sales support
