Outside Sales Representative-Insulated Glass Units or Buildi... Job Opening in South Easton, Massachusetts - Solar Seal, an industry-leading glass fabrication facility with locations in South Easton, MA, Hamden, CT and Stafford, VA is looking to add outside sales representatives based in the Northeastern United States including New England, New York and New Jersey areas to support our robust growth. Previous direct sales experience required, preferably in the building materials space. Extensive automobile travel required throughout the region. Additional travel outside this region may be required for off-site meetings, or visits to other plants. Uncapped commission potential in addition to a competitive base salary, outstanding benefits package and company vehicle for the right candidates!
Duties Include:
Ideal candidates should have the ability to read basic plans, quickly do basic mental math and be a solid written and verbal communicator. Glass experience preferred, but building materials industry experience required.
Create effective follow up procedures by using phone, email or in person approach to manage and organize territory.
Cold call/prospecting customers for use as sales leads based on internal data, industry ads, trade shows and other sources.
Position Requirements:
The candidate must be a strategic thinker and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Outside Sales. Must be able to travel 90-100% of the time in the assigned area. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills and be highly motivated. This candidate must have a strong drive to succeed through searching and cold calling. Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and email.
