Flynn Life Sciences Group is the premier resource for providing professionals to the life sciences industry and is seeking a sales development representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team.
We are willing to train and develop the right person how to source and turn prospects into long term clients.
As an SDR, you will work in conjunction with the CEO and recruiting team to uncover and deliver qualified prospects to team up and further pursue. This is a junior level sales position, ideal for candidates who are interested in developing a lucrative career. The SDR is our prime talent pool for promotion into a full Account Executive role.
The role of an SDR is to present our staffing services as a resource to managers in hiring positions at large pharmaceutical and biotech companies. You will build and maintain relationships with large and small clients both on-site and at social events. You will expand your client base via networking with new managers in the Greater Boston area.
This role requires a self-motivated, career-oriented individual with excellent problem solving skills, a competitive nature and a dynamic personality.
Here are the things you will tackle:
Drive campaigns, both cold-calling and email, to generate qualified leads
Partner with our CEO and founder to identify target prospects
Follow-up, qualify, engage, and report on leads
Book qualified appointments and introductions
Assist recruiters with closing deals
What you?ll need:
BA or BS degree
1-2 years of experience in an inside sales or similar, client facing role
Demonstrated ability to cold-call and prospect new business
History of self-motivation and exceptional drive
Strong relationship building skills
High level of organization skills and the ability to juggle multiple processes with minimal supervision
Desire to grow into a full-cycle sales role
Energy, enthusiasm, humor, and compassion
