Sales Assistant Job Opening in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Tropic Ocean Airways is seeking a Sales Assistant to join South Florida?s premier travel and seaplane airline based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Tropic offers first-class experiences to our guests traveling throughout Florida and the Bahamas. We are looking for a highly-motivated agent who will work with the sales department and company executives to assist in various sales and senior-level projects. A strong background in Sales, Customer Service and an aviation related field is preferred. Previous work references must be provided for evaluation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player and incredibly organized.

The employee will primarily perform the job duties at the following location at the primary Tropic location or at a location deemed acceptable by Tropic.
Must have a working and reliable vehicle
Must have a smart phone with email capabilities and app use
Responsibilities and Duties
Sales Assistance
Assist the Sales Agents by fielding and handling calls inbound calls and emails
Collect data from the guest and input it in to the Tropic CRM or pass it on to the respective individual
Distribute leads
Assist with revenue generating projects
Job Skill Requirements
2-year degree ? a focus in Business, Marketing, or any other related fields OR 5-years office management experience with a proven record of accomplishment
Organization skills, attention to details, computer skills with a focus in Microsoft Office 365 (word, excel, PowerPoint, One Note, One Drive, data entry, ability to task switch, CRM experience
Sales and Customer focused attitude
Team oriented and a helpful attitude
Strong communication skills primarily in English (written and verbal)
Other languages are highly encouraged
