Accounting/Controller Job Opening in Rome, Georgia - Controller
OTR Wheel Engineering, a rapidly expanding worldwide tire and wheel manufacturing and distribution company headquartered in Rome, GA is seeking a Controller.
The Controller is responsible for all finance and accounting for the company?s domestic activities including financial reporting, financial analysis, general and cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, planning, staff development, etc.
The ideal candidate will have a CPA or MBA and at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience. The candidate will have hands on experience preparing financial statements, financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, planning, supervising staff, problem solving, etc. working with outside financial auditors and bankers. Multi-facility experience is a plus. The company is looking for a qualified accounting professional who can come in and hit the ground running. Must be a pro-active team player who can work with others. Proficiency in Word, Excel and strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
