REPORTS TO: Director, Business Solutions / PMO
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of projects, and oversees all aspects of the project using our PharmaSTAR methodology. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities while holding resources accountable for their deliverables, and monitors and summarizes the progress of projects. Reviews project performance. Also responsible for ongoing status meetings with the Client and prepares reports for upper management and Clients regarding status of projects.

The Project Manager will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle across all functional teams, and is responsible for the timely and successful completion of all assigned projects. The Project Manager is responsible for following standard processes to make the best use of limited resources (time, money, and people) to achieve project deliverables and meet project milestones. The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure successful achievement of project goals. Creates and maintains project plans that track the completion and delivery of all milestones. For projects with ScriptMed? deliverables, components include design, development, quality assurance, documentation, deployment, training, and ongoing support. Internal projects may include the implementation of new or changed operational processes, coordination of end client deliverables, Product releases, and other project-specific components. Coordinates cost benefit analysis for projects.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of related work experience with 5+ years project management or related experience in a pharmacy related environment preferred.
PMI/PMP Certification preferred but not required.
JOB SKILLS:
Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint and time tracking tools.
Keen ability to build consensus; ability to influence others, and negotiate compromise, especially with those not in the project manager?s reporting structure.
Strong Client and C-level executive presence.
Experience leading and motivating, complex, and cross-functional teams.
Possesses superior communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Must also possess excellent problem solving skills with good judgment and decision making.
Ability to build and foster relationships with senior management, coworkers and clients.
Must be goal-oriented.
Ability to work with and meet established objectives, priorities, and deadlines on a consistent basis.
Must be willing to travel 20% to 40% of the time.

Required experience:
