As the Senior Developer, you will be working in a challenging, fast-paced, data-intensive environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the MPoweR? platform in an AWS cloud environment. Furthermore, you will use your high level of technical expertise to produce high quality software, while working with other team members, whereby excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills are vital.
Job Description
Design and develop major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware and infrastructure
Analyze resource constraints and overhead of various architectural designs and data acquisition methods
Provide technical advice, code reviews and thought leadership to other developers
Work with stakeholders and business leaders to ensure application designs meet expectations
Strong ability to research, debug, and correct platform and database issues
Requirements and Qualifications
Practitioners must have experience with relevant development tools and specific application and system architecture.
Programming: Java/J2EE, Javascript, , ReactJS, Ext JS, etc...)
Database: MySQL and MongoDB
Infrastructure: AWS cloud environment, Docker, EC2, RDS
Framework: Spring with microservices
Other: Linux, Ubuntu, NGINX, RESTful and Java API, JSON, multithreading and web workers, Hibernate, ESB (Mule), ETL processing, SQL, JBoss, Git, Gulp
BA/BS in Computer Science related field with a strong background in Mathematics
5-7 years relevant work experience, healthcare software development preferred
