Summary - Intermediate web developer with Microsoft MVC experience; JavaScript with jQuery, AJAX, HTML 5, CSS, WCF experience, Entity Framework, , Dapper ORM, MySQL/Maria DB, , C#, LINQ, PHP, C++, Perl, REST, SOAP, development on both Windows & Linux OS, nice to have experience with Mapping, Google Maps API, nice to have experience with mobile development. Implements new code or modifications, participates in discussions and performs unit level testing under the guidance of a Senior Software Engineer and/or Project Lead.
Environment
The Software Engineer role is an integral member of the team. Toptech is a highly fluid and fast paced work environment, individuals are expected to be flexible and have a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. The position allows the individual to work in a comfortable causal team environment with internal and external resources. Individuals will have to think outside the box to come up with solutions to meet requirements our customers have of their automation system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Generate code conforming to the design specification provided for new project development
Modify existing source in order to realize change requests, R&D and/or bug fixes
Locate and correct identified program errors
Execute unit tests on new code and code changes in accordance with specified test plans
Clearly and concisely document code additions, code changes, test procedures & results and all other work performed
