Villa Bellezza is seeking an Event Sales Coordinator to assist in selling and implementing memorable private events in our Villa event center. We are looking for an energetic event professional to help us meet demand and increase event bookings in our private spaces -- weddings, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, business meetings and other personal and business events. The right individual is an engaging communicator who enjoys meeting new guests and working on an event team to plan and deliver magical experiences.

Responsibilities
This person will promote and sell private events at Villa Bellezza by conducting tours and making professional presentations about Villa Bellezza venue spaces, on site and at trade shows. This person also handles email communications before and after the sale, including negotiating and preparing event agreements using established guidelines. The event sales coordinator also conducts in person planning sessions with clients and is responsible for completing and distributing a detailed plan for each event, including floor plans and timelines. During assigned events, the event sales coordinator supervises incoming vendors including caterers, florists, photographers, etc. and represents Villa Bellezza during the event to ensure the event runs smoothly. On event days, the event sales coordinator will either arrive early in the day to oversee and inspect the work of the event set up/ maintenance crew to prepare for an event or arrive later in the day to work until close of the event.
Other responsibilities include periodically helping in all areas of the winery business, to gain a broader knowledge and understanding of the winery business ? and to provide an enriched experience to customers. You will spend time in the tasting room as a sales associate ? conducting wine tastings and selling our wines. You may also be asked to help and gain experience in the production side of our business ? the winery or vineyards.
Qualifications
1 year event sales coordinator experience preferred
Some hospitality / event sales and coordination experience or training is a plus
Outgoing personality with aptitude for describing an event with passion and excitement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work weekends and weekdays
Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
Comfortable with technology ? eager to learn new systems
Compensation
Villa Bellezza offers an attractive compensation package. Hourly salary based upon experience, plus commission on events sold and delivered. Additional sales commissions and tips when working as a sales associate in the tasting room. Medical allowance, paid vacation and personal days.
