Accounting Team Assistant Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - We are looking for a very talented person to join our team full-time in Kansas City. The Accounting Team Assistant will primarily assist the accounting team with accounts receivable functions.
Position Responsibilities:
Process incoming check and credit card payments
Reconciling accounts receivable and daily deposits
Resolve any payment discrepancies
Process account adjustments
Investigate and resolve customer account queries
Manage the completion of reporting activities according to specific guidelines
Assist in supervision of accounts receivable team members and day-to-day running of the department
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
Minimum 2 years of relevant office experience
Extremely detail oriented
Excellent 10-key skills
Highly proficient in MS Excel
Ability to exercise poise, tactfulness, diplomacy, and good interpersonal skills in order to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator
Team Attitude contribute to overall office success
