Optician/Sales Associate Job Opening in Antioch, Tennessee - Eyecare Plus is seeking a sales oriented individual to add to our team of professionals.
About the Company: Eyecare Plus remains middle Tennessee's largest doctor owned eyecare provider since 1993, currently operating 7 locations.
Essential Functions:
Our Optician is responsible for greeting and assisting our patients with their visual and fashion needs.
Provide assistance to the patient in selecting eyewear that is suitable to the their lifestyle and needs
Make recommendations based on patient needs and assist with frame styling, lens options and coatings
Perform any appropriate optical related measurements
Entering and completing patient order into office software based on eyewear choices and complete payment
Understanding vision and medical insurance and educating patient on their benefits
Contacting patients and dispensing eyewear when order is ready
Adjustment and repairs
Work as a team to provide the best patient experience
Clean and professional work area
Assist in the merchandising and inventory management of the store
Other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager
Communicating professionally with co-workers and patients
Professional appearance
