Apparel Sales Associate Job Opening in Killington, Vermont - We are in search of someone who is both knowledgeable and passionate about our culture and the products involved. Above all, this person must strive to provide exceptional customer experiences. This position will require current knowledge of men?s & woman?s fashion along with understanding technical differences in waterproofing and breathable fabrics. This job requires someone who is both technically skilled and who has friendly sales experience and the ability to sell anything Basin carries.
Responsibilities
Work with a team of individuals to create great experiences for all customers we come in contact with.
Consciously strive to improve upon knowledge base and expertise with regards to product information
Provide educated, unbiased advice to assist in customer purchases
Be an active part of the Killington community by working Basin events and parties
Resolve customer related issues quickly, efficiently and happily
Look for new ways to go above and beyond the expectations of our customers
Assist in maximizing store efficiency by minimizing labor expenses with time management skills and effective decision making
Qualifications
Proven track record of providing top tier customer service. Outdoor or Action Sports retail experience is a plus.
Experience selling apparel, technical outerwear, accessories etc. is a must
Must posses strong communication skills, the ability maintain a positive attitude and a sense of humor
Ability to multitask in a high energy, fast-paced environment
Capable of working individually and in a team environment
Flexibility to perform well in other departments of a dynamic retail store
Possess strong follow through, accountability, and punctuality.
Flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends
Should know why Gore-Tex is the greatest fabric ever!
There are Full Time and Part Time positions available. The tentative start date is November 1st with the potential to start sooner.
