Accountant - Audit - Columbus Job Opening in Columbus, Ohio - Well established CPA firm located in Columbus is looking for candidates with 1+ years audit experience to join their growing firm in the Columbus area. Audit candidates will possess a background in public accounting and will be a licensed CPA or will have made progress towards completion of the CPA exams. Primary responsibilities will be to assist in the day to day operations of audit engagements with a variety of clients in different industries. Responsibilities for Audit Associates:
Assist in the day to day operations of audit engagementsIdentify and resolve client issues found during audit engagements
Perform internal control and audit test work
Perform complex financial analysis
Communicate audit matters and procedures with senior audit members, including managers and partners
Analyze financial statements and tax issues
Qualifications for Audit Associates:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting required.
Minimum of 1 years related experience. Public accounting experience desired
CPA or progress towards CPA completion preferred
Excellent analytical, communication, and written skills
Ability to multi task and handle multiple projects
Ability to meet deadlines
