Medicount Management, Inc., a regional EMS Billing company located in Evendale, Ohio, has more than 27 years of ambulance billing experience. Our client base of 325 plus municipal clients, generates over 300,000 annual transport claims, making Medicount the premier EMS Billing provider in the region. We specialize only in ambulance billing. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to Reviewing Run Reports, entering patient demographics, updating patient information, and coding ALS/BLS level of care. The Data Entry/ Auditor Specialist will be responsible for conducting daily audits, recognizing and resolving run report issues, maintaining clarification schedules, as well as perform special audit projects.
Requirements:
Position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
Associates Degree or Medical Coding Certificate preferred but not required
Minimum 2 year(s) of charge entry experience
Minimum 2 year(s) of medical billing experience
Ability to type a minimum of 50 WPM
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
Data entry experience
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
Knowledge of HCPCs codes
Have or working towards the CPC Certification within 12 months
