RT Edwards & Associates PC ( ) is a CPA firm in the business of serving dentists by providing a full range of services. We are seeking candidates for the position of Accounts Payable Clerk?duties include:
* Performs tasks related to overall accounts payable operations including reviewing invoices, filing and, maintaining relationships with vendors. * Sets up new vendors, maintains vendor files and sets up new files as needed.
* Reconciles vendor statements, researches and corrects discrepancies. * Contacts team members and/or vendors to resolve any invoice issues. *Enters invoices timely to avoid late payments.
*Assumes the responsibility for the verification of vendor name, address and amount for the invoice(s) being entered for payment. *Maintains confidentiality of information. *Performs other duties as necessary
Qualifications
High School Diploma required, college courses in accounting or Associates Degree preferred***
3+ years of Accounts Payable experience* *
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.* *
Knowledge of online software a plus* *
Highly accurate data entry with emphasis on timeliness* *
Dedication to work with above average attendance*
Benefits include 401K, employer paid health insurance, vacation and personal days. Hourly compensation range of $13 - $15. Hourly rate is negotiable commensurate with experience.
