Payroll Accounting Specialist Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - Performs day to day processing of Payroll in connection with the properties. Maintains a high level of accuracy as it relates to entering information into the computer system. Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met and that all activities are being performed in accordance Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Delivers dependable customer service to the properties, departments and Boyd team members. Provides additional support to the departments as requested.

Essential Job Functions and Duties:
Is process driven and focused on quality execution.
Is familiarity with continuous improvement, daily huddles, and performance metrics.
Input information from property HR into Kronos (i.e. salary PTO, tips, misc. deductions, etc.) and index electronically.
Compares tips in Kronos to input files; investigates and resolves variances.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma, required.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in payroll preferred.
Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
Demonstrate organizational skills to function effectively while still maintaining attention to detail and meeting established deadlines.
Demonstrate high levels of motivation and be eager to learn, while being willing to work flexible schedule.
Ability to work through high volume and stressful time periods with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
