The position is responsible for the generation and documentation of Safety Data assessments for all divisions of the company. This includes review, revision, ensuring accuracy of all data and documentation is meet.
Job duties:
? Conduct health and environmental hazard assessments on products, intermediates and raw materials
? Maintain current and accurate data in the internal databases
? Ensure all supplier information is transferred to the internal databases for accuracy
? Support both internal and external customers related to hazard communications
? Monitor and evaluate upcoming and pending legislation to determine impact to the corporation; developing plans to ensure compliance is maintained
? Participate in system development projects to ensure continued compliance with all applicable regulations
Requirements
? Bachelor?s degree in chemistry, toxicology, environmental science or related field
? Minimum of three (3) years? experience authoring and documentation of safety hazard assessments and product labels
? Experience with Materials Safety Data Sheets authoring software; with preference to candidates with experience in the SAP EHS module
