Retail/Wholesale NWC Native Art Business - Assistant Job Opening in seattle, Washington - Retail/Wholesale NWC Native Art Business - Assistant Northwest Coast Native Art Business seeks an "Administrator's Assistant", Native American preference, all welcome to apply. This is a highly multi - faceted position. Business is searching for a "Team Player " with multiple skills and a passion for Northwest Coast Native Arts & Culture. This is a full-time, permanent position, schedule will vary from 30 - 40hrs per week, depending on the season and business activity. Tues thru Sun ( One day off over the weekends, alternating with staff ) and every FIRST FRIDAY. An Ideal Applicant would be knowledegable about NWC Native cultures & arts and be able to handle multiple tasks, sometimes under pressure, timelines, deadlines, and have some artistic skills and the ability to work well in an assembly situation, be computer saavy on a Mac. Applicant should have excellent organizational and communication skills, be personable and work well in a public setting. Sales experience required. A proven record of being flexible and able to adapt to the ever changing needs of the business. Training in a specific area that applicant is lacking is possible, if necessary. Ferry tickets will be provided, reliable transportation a must, along the bus route as a possibility. Position will start asap, there will be a 2 week training period, to determine if applicant has the required skills and abilities to work well in all capacities with the Director and to see if Applicant is a favorable fit as a team player in the business.
