Master Pipefitter - Rhode Island Job Opening in Providence, Rhode island - Position: Master Pipefitter

About the Position: The Master Pipefitter will maintain, repair, and provide set-up & installation of various boiler related mechanical systems. The successful candidate will work from engineering drawings, sketches, and/or verbal direction and perform all aspects of plumbing and mechanical assembly, layout, installation, and repairs as well as general maintenance. A Master Unrestricted Pipefitter License is required, MA and/or RI.
Education and Experience: The successful candidate must have 5 to 10 years? experience as a master plumber and be either Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island State Licensed.
Competencies:
Maintains, repairs and installs plumbing and related components
Cut, thread and weld pipes as necessary
Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings and pipes
Use of plumber?s tools such as snakes, wrenches, plungers, pipe threaders, as well as a variety hand and power tools.
Inspect work for compliance with building and safety codes and regulations
Maintain good housekeeping of shop and tools
Maintain appropriate service and repair logs as required by management
