Adventist Health Personal Care is recruiting for RNs and LPNs who have a special place in their heart for medically fragile children. This is in home care.
Previous experience is NOT required. This is a wonderful opportunity for new nurses to start their career.
JOB SUMMARY
The nurse administers treatments, medications and personal care to clients in the home setting under the supervision of physician's orders. The nurse will monitor client's physical and psychosocial status. Current Oregon license, and AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides care as defined by physician's orders and as a care plan.
Reports all risk management issues (client or caregiver related on appropriate forms in a timely manner).
Demonstrates a spirit of excellence and professionalism in interpersonal relations with physicians, clients, peers, management and the AHPC Team.
Adheres to safety standards in work environment.
with rules and regulations governing Home care.
Submits paperwork in a timely fashion.
Documents clearly, concisely, legibly, timely, and completely all nursing interventions in medical record; reflecting skilled care provided.
Maintains current and updated technical and procedural skills. Provides education to client, family and caregivers regarding the rights of clients.
