EMT / Medical Coordinator Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - SphereMD is a medical services company that seeks an extraordinarily organized, methodical, lover of a fast-paced environment person to join our team.
This position is 80% Maritime Crew Case Management and 20% EMT clinical; you will experience a lot of variety but must excel at clerical and detail-oriented duties.
We are looking for an employee with a stable employment history who is high energy, dynamic, able to shift priorities quickly and manage multiple projects at once. While the position requires EMT-B certification, the ideal candidate for this position is one with other non-medical experiences and exemplary customer service skills.
The employee who takes on this role will be a vital part of multiple company divisions including: Occupational, Maritime and Travel Medicine.
Job Responsibilities: Case management of medical care to the maritime industry, staffing of 1st Aid health testing facility for a large industrial job site.

Tasks Include:
Administer first aid treatment to sick or injured employees.
Medical services coordination and case management
Maintain medical equipment and replenish first-aid supplies.
Conduct occupational health testing.
Manage OSHA compliance programs.
Conduct drug and alcohol testing.
Client billing
Accurately track and record data.
Appointment scheduling
Ordering supplies
Abilities:
Effective time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
1st Aid and EMS experience.
You must have good writing and computer skills and be able to effectively maintain business correspondence in addition to working with several database and information systems.
College education is preferred, as well as at least 5 years of work experience.

Required Certifications:
OR-EMT with at least 1 year experience
Current CPR card (Healthcare Provider Level)
Preferred Certification:
CAOHC Audiometry Testing
BAT/ UA Screening
