Project Control Specialist I: Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - 1* *Project Control Specialist I:
This position serves as WMATA?s project control lead and requires expertise in Primavera 6 and two years of cost and scheduling experience on a large construction project. Three years of experience in design-build or large construction projects, exemplary communications skills, experience in responding to RFI?s and direct field or management experience.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Job duties include, but are not limited to: tracking WMATA action items for assigned project(s) and analyzing and updating weekly , including documenting all delays, and potential risks; Prepare project cost reports, track, compile invoice backup, reconcile billing and payment actions, evaluate contract modifications; providing schedules, information, and coordinating with WMATA schedulers; performing budget analysis and projections; coordinating schedule information with the contractor; conduct auditing of all schedule related deliverables, assist with process administration for material/design submittals and document management; coordinating communication between the office and field staff as well as end-user; investigating and responding to RFIs; organizing and summarizing field reports and submit weekly reports; coordination with administrative and field operations; and providing backup office or field support as needed
