Outside Sales Representative NY, NJ & New England - Metals Job Opening in New Haven, Connecticut - Erickson Metals Corporation is an aluminum re-roll mill, with Corporate headquarters in CT, and 3 additional distribution warehouses across the U.S. We are in search of an energetic outside sales representative to support and grow our business in New York, New Jersey, and New England territories. Representative will be selling aluminum strip in coil form to the metal stamping and deep drawn metal part industry.
Responsibilities Include:
Target and generate new leads through research and marketing strategies.
Maintain and service relationships with current customers.
Make routine sales calls, as well as cold-calling to develop new accounts.
Work together with Inside Sales, Production, and Quality Department to effectively communicate customers' needs.
Respond to customers' requests in a timely manner.
Efficiently manage time in setting up sales appointments and servicing accounts.
Represent EMC with professionalism, honesty, and integrity at all times.
Requirements:
Prior metals or manufacturing sales experience is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office
Clean Driving Record and valid U.S. drivers license
