Sales Development Executive Job Opening in Miami, Florida - Coty Inc's Sales Development Executive is responsible for delivering retail sales goals while strengthening local account penetration and retailer joint business planning - with a disproportionate growth acceleration in top potential doors. The Sales Development Executive also owns critical organizational expectations - leading, scheduling and coaching a diverse team of Brand Ambassadors to deliver perfect execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Achieve/Exceed Retail Sales Goals
Regularly analyze retail sales and adjust to future support changes
Utilize brand rankings, penetration, stock status reports as available
Maximize promotional tools to drive sales and ROI
Own joint business planning process with retail partners to drive accountability
Maximize retailer and brand promotional calendar to ensure successful execution of all key programs (ex storewide promotions, special events, product launches)
2. Lead, Schedule, and Develop team of Brand Ambassadors
Perfectly execute corporate by-door scheduling guidance & retail sales expectations
Monitor weekly the Brand Ambassador productivity vs. goal and ROI effectiveness
Actively review education materials - either via phone, skype or in person to ensure product and brand knowledge is at the highest level
Review retailer feedback after store visits, create development plans based on strength and opportunity
3. Maximize In-Store presence
Communicate corporate merchandising guidelines with Brand Ambassadors on new initiatives, Holiday and Key merchandising plans
Closely maintain and monitor the condition of permanent and semi-permanent locations. Escalate issues for immediate resolution to protect fashion house and brand equity
4. Education
Partner with Education team to train Brand Ambassadors on brand knowledge and event best practices
Leverage market visits to confirm retention of training material amongst Brand Ambassadors
Conduct Brand Focus Days in key priority markets
Application Pre-Requisites:
1. Preferred: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
2. Intermediate Computer proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
3. Previous team leader experience within retail cosmetic/skin care/fragrance. Experience with Sephora is preferred.
4. Ability to travel up to 75%
