Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Opening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Baton Rouge based Construction company has an immediate team for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join its growing finance team. This position works directly with the Controller on all areas of financial reporting and offers a strong base salary, bonus structure/profit sharing, and comprehensive benefits package. Position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Financial statement preparation
Assist with month end and year end close
Job costing, percentage of completion
Bank reconciliations
Journal entries
AP/AR and payroll support
Other ad hoc projects as directed
Requirements:
High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred
3 plus years of construction accounting experience; or experience in auditing construction companies
Strong Excel skills
2 plus years of job costing experience
Ability to work with all levels of management across multiple departments
