Regional Revenue Cycle Analyst- Remote Job Opening in Nashville, Tennessee - POSITION SUMMARY:
Sound Physicians is looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Revenue Cycle department as a Regional Revenue Analyst. This is a challenging role with the potential to make a large impact on the organization.
The Regional Revenue Analyst is responsible for the analysis of revenue cycle data and the financial impact to our hospital partners and to Sound Physicians. This position will assist in developing analyses and processes to proactively support the business and optimize revenue cycle outcomes. This is a dynamic role that will interface with many departments across the company as well as with our field operators and partners. Revenue Cycle is responsible for professional billing, vendor management, coding, quality assurance, and provider enrollment, among other activities. This includes, but is not limited to; charge capture, claims submission, accounts receivables, write-offs, denials management, patient financial services, medical records and payer analysis (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Private Pay).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to dig into data, work cross functionally to develop fully informed views and insights into the drivers behind the data, and present findings clearly and concisely
Accurately gather, synthesize, analyze and communicate timely relevant information to support decision making and to develop process improvement strategies
Maintain department standards of productivity metrics such as claims processed, collection volume and rates, and patient payments
Perform financial analysis of revenue cycle processes and reports
Support annual budgeting, monthly financial and revenue forecasting
Analyze FFS (fee for service) collection trending
Provide assistance in creating models that connect strategies to measures of performance
Support existing capabilities related to the standardization and process improvement initiatives within the Revenue Cycle
Provide analytical support and develop tools for company operations to enhance their skills in detecting both current and future performance issues
Prepare narratives, PowerPoint presentations, graphs and reporting for field operations, clients, finance and revenue cycle.
Develop and prepare ad-hoc reports related to the revenue cycle
Other duties as assigned
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND TRAINING NEEDED TO PERFORM YOUR JOB:
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability prioritize workload and function well in a fast-paced environment
Strong quantitative skills preferred with proficiency in Excel and Power Point
Natural intellectual curiosity with strong research skills
Working knowledge of revenue cycle, healthcare payment models, physician practice management, payer contracting, and managed care models
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Education
Required: Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Economics or related field or relevant work experience with a Bachelor?s degree in progress
Experience
Required: 2-4 years? experience of revenue cycle experience within analytical role

Maintains strict confidentiality with regard to protected health information and understands and adheres to Sound Physicians HIPAA Privacy and Security Policies and Procedures
Maintains strict confidentiality with regard to company legal and financial information
