ABA Specialist (Applied Behavioral Analysis) Job Opening in Albuquerque, New mexico - Bridges, Inc. is New Mexico?s oldest and largest behavioral healthcare provider for Autism Spectrum Disorder in Albuquerque. We are seeking a part time or full time ABA Specialist to work with children with autism spectrum disorder and their families.
The ABA Specialist will provide supervision of ABA services, through programs funded by Medicaid, commercial insurance and other contracts. ABA Specialists will supervise direct service staff (Registered Behavior Technicians) who provide Applied Behavior Analysis to children. The goal of ABA is to teach, train, and coach individuals in acquiring, enhancing, or maintaining social, behavioral and living skills necessary to function successfully within their home and community setting. Services may also be designed to prevent maladaptive behaviors and teach appropriate functional behaviors. ABA Specialists will work in the client?s home and/or appropriate public settings.
Bridges? BCBAs will provide ABA assessments; develop treatment plan; provide supervision for ABA services; provide supervision for RBT and BCaBA; and provide parent/caregiver training.
This position requires at least 2 years of ABA experience and Master?s degree. Certification as a BCBA or BCaBA is preferred.
