Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist Job Opening in Marietta, Georgia - Summary of Position :
The Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist is responsible for the management of all revenue billing.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Create customer orders in SAP
Monitors sales orders and transactions in Legacy systems to ensure smooth interface with SAP
Ensure timely billing of all customers
Maintain customer master records in Legacy and SAP systems
Deliver bills to customers
Work closely with Collections
Identify outstanding billing for revenue recognition at period end
Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure billing process captures all outstanding revenue
Coordinates the formatting of invoices which meet customer and company requirements
Assists with close process
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Associate Degree or higher in Accounting or related
3-5 years related Experience
SAP experience a plus
Ability to understand and interpret complex contracts
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSuite
Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently
High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work simultaneously on multiple diverse projects
Results driven and comfortable working against aggressive deadlines
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
