Sales Representative - Construction Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - The Sales Representative must have a proven history of sales with an emphasis or background in construction and remodeling. He or she will work with homeowners and prospective customers to define their vision and create a detailed scope of work in the pursuit of closing the sale. Sales Reps must demonstrate a creative aptitude as they will work closely with the design team to delivery 3D renderings to bring the customers vision to life. The sales rep will also work closely with the estimating and project management teams to ensure that jobs have been planned and budgeted properly.
Expectations:
This will be an intense and highly competitive interview process. This is a 3 phase interview process as the candidates are narrowed down from 100 to 4. Once hired there is an extensive training program which will include 1-2 weeks in Chicago. No out of state traveling is required- the territory is a 30 mile radius around Charlotte. Sales reps are required to maintain minimum quotas- min quota will generate $115,000 in commissions. Successful reps have the potential to make $200,000+. This is an extremely high energy, high pressure, high reward career.
Company leads are generated and appointments are set by the administrative assistant. Sales reps will have up to 5 appointments a day and are expected to close a min of 30%. The sales reps will also be expected to source and cultivating new sales prospects independently. Relationship building is a top skill set.
Please do not apply without a proven history of successful outside sales experience. Construction experience is preferred but not mandatory. If a candidate has a proven history of closing in-home sales they may be considered.
