Senior Analyst/Developer Job Opening in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - A great company in the Oklahoma City area is searching for skilled Analyst/Developer to join their team!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following:
Define and design application architecture.
Develop and deliver on time high quality applications that meet the requirements provided by the business.
Full stack application development (from front-end to data/API driven back end code).
Writing automated unit and integration tests for new and existing software applications to ensure they produce consistent results.
Follow coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with other developers and staff through daily interactions as well as code reviews.
Provide detailed and accurate estimates and task breakdowns based on requirements documents.
Research and recommend best practices, coding standards, development tools and new technologies.
Create proof of concept applications to demonstrate benefits and uses of new technologies.
Track technical debt and create a reduction plan.
Manage tasks and bugs in the work tracking system.
Consult with managerial and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and recommend changes.
Assist support technicians in troubleshooting and identifying production issues.
Apply a data security mindset to the design and development of secure web applications

Be able to clearly communicate complex technical designs and solutions in clear, concise and easily readable format by both technical and non-technical personnel
Strict adherence to change management procedures and recovery strategies that result in the ability to quickly restore business process functionality should there be a need to rollback

E* *DUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
College degree or other specialized information system training. Minimum 5 years of web and application development experience.
Strong hands-on experience in , MVC and Web API with a focus on C#
Experience in database design, SQL and creating stored procedures and views
Front end development and design experience with JavaScript and CSS frameworks (including Angular JS and Bootstrap).
Knowledge of Web application security, web services and SOA architectures.
Knowledge and application of sound SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
Excellent analytic, organization, presentation and facilitation skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Demonstrated experience working with technical and non-technical staff
Ability to work alone or with little supervision.
Outstanding collaboration and team building skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
