Junior Accountant Job Opening in Gaithersburg, Maryland - HIP Projects is a well-established, diversified hospitality and development group with more than $250 million in investment holdings. We are seeking a Junior Accountant for its portfolio, including its award-winning Spectrum/Watkins Mill mixed-use development in Gaithersburg, Maryland. /
The Spectrum/Watkins Mill development is a $975 million community, developed and managed by HIP and its related entities. The recent additions to the community include the $90 million dollar Majestic apartments, the new Firebirds Restaurant, and the farm to table Barking Mad Café.
The Junior Accountant's role will primarily involve coding expenses and writing checks, but responsibilities will also include administrative tasks, as well as providing leasing support for the apartment community.
The ideal candidate will be a junior or senior in college or will be a very recent college graduate with NO MORE THAN one (1) year of experience, preferably with a concentration in business and/or accounting.
The salary will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and academic background.
