Harrington Starr has recently partnered with a top financial trading technology provider which is seeking a Solution Architect to be based in Fort Mill, SC.
The Solution Architect will coordinate closely with the internal team including Business Analysts and Product Managers to enhance the existing platform and ensure that solutions area optimized, supporting the middle/back office of Tier 1 banks, hedge funds, and other clients involved in financial Solution Architect will also work closely with these teammates to ensure that the right designs and solutions are used. The Solution Architect will also be responsible for training internal and external users on these solutions.
The Solution Architect will be part of a newly formed team in a new office, while having the backing of a well-established global firm. The Solution Architect will be one of the first new hires for the team and will offer great opportunity for learning and growth.
Our client is looking for the following background
Broad experience either in software development or database administration
Customer-facing experience
HTML, XML, Javascript, Java exposure
Background with regulatory reporting systems is preferred
Technical abilities with MS SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server Optimization
Domain knowledge around regulatory reporting would be beneficial
Exposure to messaging languages including SWIFT and FIX would be beneficial
