Responsibilities:
At least 5-7 years of working experience in design and development of disposable products with manufacturing background, preferably in Medical Device.
Work with vendors and automate manufacturing equipment and transition into support the process as production ramps-up.
Working at the direction of the engineering leader, to oversee internal and external resources, in the development of manual / semi-automated / full-automated processes for product assembly.
Position supports development of manufacturing methods and fixtures, automation process development with third-party vendors, and coordination of the test method development as an R&D liaison with process transition.
Apply lean manufacturing methodologies to characterize, debug, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Performing process development, conducting FAT, SAT and process validations.
Support root cause investigations and manufacturing process improvements.
Design and characterization of prototype equipment & pilot processes.
Identify methods & fixtures, create specifications & acceptance protocols for process equipment.
Develops and maintains good rapport with business leaders, other internal functions, technical consultants, outside vendors, and other stakeholders to accomplish project objectives and be a strong team-player.
Assisting stakeholders in identifying and verifying automation methods for batch processing of artwork and/or CO preparation
Core Skills:
Experience in Drug and Medical Device GMP regulations and ERP systems & processes and methods & procedures used in the manufacture & quality control of medical diagnostic products.
MUST have excellent communication skills(verbal, written, presentation & articulation), appropriate for varying levels of stakeholders.
Knowledge in New Product and Process development, Vendor Development, development and troubleshooting of machine and process operations for high-speed complex automation (including packaging), writing equipment specifications, operating procedures, and managing design efforts of equipment vendors, developing and executing acceptance test & validation testing protocols, Capital budgets & project timelines across multifunctional disciplines.
Strong background in manufacturing and tool knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to critical thinking and clearly communicate ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams.
Knowledge in SAP and Quality Document Management System in handling the documen
Proficient in handling the change order from initiation to closure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on MS projects, Excel and Word.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor?s or higher education in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering / technology streams (Manufacturing /Mechatronics)
