Equipment Coordinator Job Opening in phoenix, Arizona - Equipment Coordinator SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing support to the Recruiting Coordinators by completing the day-to-day inventory control of all Field Technician equipment. This includes the shipping, receiving, and collecting of such equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties in shipping equipment. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting. Enter all transactions and inventory records into the appropriate business systems. Verifies identification and count of material to be shipped; wraps or packs materials according to specifications or knowledge of shipping ; attaches information and shipping instructions on containers. Coordinates with outside shippers (FedEx, UPS) to insure all products is handled in appropriate manner. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Responsible for coordination of all shipping activities. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records damaged items, shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Responsible for the coordination of all receiving activities. Contacts I.T. Department when equipment is ready for reconfiguring. Performs other duties as may be required by supervisor. EXPERIENCE Six months of Shipping/Receiving experience. Experience creating FedEx and UPS labels, preferred. Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing and/or a distribution environment, preferred. Six months of Customer Services experience. EDUCATION High School graduate or equivalent. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to use Windows on a PC (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Must have ability to lift 50lbs Strong organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
