Big Night Entertainment Group owns and operates Shrine Nightclub, Red Lantern Foxwoods, The Scorpion Bar Mexican Cantina, High Rollers Luxury Lanes and Lounge and Guy Fieri's Foxwoods Kitchen and Bar. We are currently looking for a Private Dining Supervisor/ Sales Assistant to join our team at BNEG.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drive Private Dining sales by developing new and repeat customer lists and databases
Coordinate with the Sales Manager to obtain knowledge of financial goals (costs and sales) are how they are attained for each event.
Execute Private Events including set-up event, greet client, and oversee servers while participating in service, complete billing and all other necessary tasks.
Assist Director Sales with contracts, menus and details for clients when requested.
Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, professional, gracious service at all times.
Conduct pre-shift meetings to keep staff inspired, motivated, and informed about event specifics. * Set a service standard for guest satisfaction by exemplifying positive leadership skills & strong character at all times.
Drive outside sales effort through cold calls, emails and attending networking events * Meet with Foxwoods call centers and develop casino relationships
Coordinate with the Private Events Director to make sure financial goals (costs and sales) are attained for each event.
Design and execute Private Dining Events including set-up event, greet client, oversee servers, complete billing and all other necessary tasks
Coordinate with Private Events Manager on special offerings and packages
Give site tours and answer questions for walk-in guests
Prepare all Weekly Events Sheet, Staffing, Event Set-up Sheets and manage events payroll
Required Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
Ability to work well with people internally and externally at all levels
Strong writing skills
Solid planning, organizing and scheduling abilities
Strong team building skills with emphasis on development and ability to think outside the box
Education and/or Experience: College or university program certificate preferred or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
