Open Posting: Junior Sales Rep Job Opening in Stamford, Connecticut - We have a permanent general requisition for a junior sales rep to talk to customers on the phone and perform order entry for locks and custom door hardware.
Candidates should have strong communication skills on the phone, be self-motivated to learn new information and skills, and be extremely organized and resourceful. The product has many technical elements so the right candidates will be able to interpret engineering drawings, understand how different hardware components work together, and communicate with engineers to get parts drawn correctly. Experience in a sales role is preferred but not required, as is experience in a showroom, hardware re-seller, installation, or architecture/design environment.
There will be growth opportunities for people who perform well in this role. Many people have been with the company in multiple, successive positions for 20+ years.
The position is onsite in Stamford, CT. This is a full time position that includes competitive salary and benefits.
